For sure Bucharest does not lack hang out places. Since the opening of the Old City Center the night life improved a lot and the city center looks like of any other capital in Europe. But more and more places come to life from places that need a better upkeep and lack resources in the current crisis.
One of them is the old stable gardens of Prince Stirbey’s Palace in the center of the city. A maze of alleys covered completely by trees like in a forest all quite dusty and unattractive during the day come to life in the night after a sultry day. When I left around midnight I felt like a party pooper, all tables staying full till wee hours of the night.
