Yosemite Valley, CA

The spectacular view of the Yosemite Valley is unique. The Route 41 access tunnel was built in 1933 with this spellbinding idea in mind to awe the visitors who enter this paradise of waterfalls, once inhabited by the Miwok Indians. The park is deep in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the access from the closest towns with hotels requiring almost 90 minutes to the place where you can start a hike. We hiked the Vernal and Nevada Falls, two spectacular waterfalls with a large debit in the spring, a relatively strenuous 10 miles hike with many steps dug into the mountain that brings you up about 2000 feet.
