With so much talk about storms and hurricanes that buzz the news channels you feel that is hyped up on purpose to sell their advertising time. But sometimes it really happens and that may be the time when they don’t get it right.
The 5-8″ predicted morphed somehow in a huge 33 hours blizzard that pounded the East Coast with 30 inches of snow that took us an entire Sunday to dig out of it. New York was closed down, the buses and elevated subways and trains being shut off leaving just the underground to operate. The cars were also banned with a threat of arrest if you drive in the night. So the best is always to walk. It’s always an eerie feeling to stroll in a snow storm when all traffic is halted.
